ChildAid helped them smile.

Prayer

ChildAid’s mission is rooted and grounded in Scripture and the  traditions of the Church which flows from it.

We want all Christians to join us in praying for an end of poverty, exploitation and corruption wherever it exists in Eastern Europe.

We regularly post spiritual reflections on our Facebook page and on Twitter.

Many of our supporters write or ‘phone us to ask for our prayers at our Wednesday Prayer meeting in the Office. This is an enormous privilege and we are always delighted to do so.

Companion Churches

The Christian faith is a journey towards God. ChildAid’s mission is to encourage as many people as possible to begin and continue that journey. That is why we seek Companion Churches from all denominations to accompany them on that journey.

What is a Companion Church?

A Companion Church supports ChildAid through its prayers and/or through its giving. In doing so your Church will be connected hand in hand, heart to heart, with one or other of our partner projects for as long or short a time as you decide – even just through a “one-off” gift.

Ideally we would like to speak to your congregation or weekly meeting about the work our partners do day-by- day and the transformative love of Jesus they offer to any and to all who need their help. Knowing and living His love is, of course, the final and permanent transformation in any life.

Journeying with ChildAid is not just about supporting our mission – it IS Mission.

Please make it your mission to become a Companion Church and join hands and hearts with the children and young people we serve so that together we can share God’s love and see lives changed for ever.
