“After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you” 1 Peter 5:10

Years come and years go. We change. We encounter difficulties. With God’s will we persevere, overcome, and meet the challenges that come before us. As has been said before, the one constant is God’s love, grace and mercy.

Whatever adversities you have had in 2019 or will have in 2020, I do so hope that prayer, care, love and friendship will enable these to be overcome so that you be strengthened and established in His name. It is through these interventions, as explored in this Lent edition of ChildAid Matters, that children, young people and families are being helped by our partners to overcome their adversities.

In preparation for Easter perhaps our alternative gifts could replace Easter Eggs or the like for your loved ones. We will send you a gift card to pass on explaining that they have been brought a “virtual gift” which they will know has helped a child in need.

During the period of Lent we are offering the opportunity to count your blessings. A fun way to consider the abundance that many of us have. In past years many of our supporters have said how much they have enjoyed doing this and how it has made them thankful for how grateful they are to our Lord.

Finally, our new Easter Card design will hopefully help you deliver the amazing news of Christ’s resurrection and our salvation.

Thank you so much for your prayers and support.
