Another year comes to an end, and we are so blessed to be here.
2021 has been a difficult year for everyone.
For ChildAid we had the highs of moving to a new office, making new friends and collaborations, and the sadness of the death of some beneficiaries or their close relatives. But with your help we stay motivated, overcome difficulties and remain steadfastly focussed on the help which is needed as much as ever.
Your support keeps families together, helps young orphans dream of a better and brighter future, gives abandoned babies a better start in life, provides life transforming therapies for children with physical disabilities and gives strength to our people to continue to work hard for the best possible outcome.
Sometimes when we think about heroes, we imagine Superheroes, to us the heroes are our supporters and our beneficiaries.
Our supporters because with their kindness and generosity they spread hope, hope that even the most difficult situations can be turned around with kindness.
Our beneficiaries because they have faith for a better tomorrow, and they are fighting to survive under the most difficult circumstances.
So many of you joined in our matched giving campaigns, gave selflessly, and sponsored our children. You also ordered Christmas Cards and thoughtful Alternative gifts for a loved one.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being there for the less fortunate.
