And Now These Three Remain

I did not pick the theme of “love” for this edition of ChildAid Matters because of St Valentine’s Day. I chose it
because when I read the reports from our partner Family Love, it was so clear that it is through, and for, love that each of partners work so diligently for others. Love truly is the greatest gift.

Surely, right now as we approach a full year of war in Ukraine, the hardest of all Christ’s lessons for Ukrainians is to “love your enemies”. The recent horrific shelling in Dnipro was just 30 miles from our largest project in Ukraine, Children’s Hearts in Kamianske. How much longer? How many more prayers? How much more love and
forgiveness for the enemy? Only God knows and we will have the faith to believe that He will end this war.

The love that has been poured out upon all of us can be seen daily in the blessings that surround us, and in the blessings that we can offer to others. Last year many supporters were uplifted with our Lent Blessings diary.
Perhaps this year even more will be blessed by considering their blessings. Of course, one such blessing is to send the true message of Easter to friends and family, and so we have available our usual Easter cards.

I pray that I may be a vessel that will be seen to be overflowing with the love of Christ and that you as well will be blessed with His love in abundance.
