Replace old, decrepit, un-used science equipment
Moldova remains one of Europe’s poorest countries. One consequence is that schools outside of the few populous areas receive limited funding. ChildAid has close connections with a school in the village where our partner, Esther House, is located.
In addition to providing library books and computer equipment for the students we were also able to give each classroom a laptop, projector and screen for staff to provide more inter-active lessons.
The next stage in this investment in education is to provide equipment to support more practical science lessons. Currently there is NO such equipment and all lessons are pure theory.
Items such as digital microscopes (at around Euro 100-200 each) will fundamentally change the teaching techniques and ultimately the improvement of knowledge and results. TO GIFT A MICROSCOPE PLEASE SELECT “£?” BELOW AND DONATE £100.
Giving the children of Moldova an improved education is vital for the long term development of this wonderful country. Please help us to educate the children of Moldova.
