The quote from Mother Teresa is within one of our new Christmas card designs this year. As I write this we still longingly and prayerfully wait for peace to come to Ukraine – more than a smile is needed. Yet we can all help to bring smiles on the beautiful faces of the children and families who are simply trying to survive and thrive amidst their hurt, sadness and hardships.

Over the years many of our supporters have graciously taken part in our alternative gifts programme: virtual gifts purchased for our children or families which we have ensured make a transformative difference in their lives. Often supporters then “gift” these purchases to their own friends and family so that they too can share in the good feeling that such giving brings. This year we are offering a different approach – our “12 Days of Giving” is not just restricted to 12 days but for any time and with a range of recommended giving amounts they are right for any budget.
