"Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on towards love and good deeds" (Hebrews 10:23-25)

With the onset of Spring it is hoped that you feel refreshed and revitalised. The blue skies, the crisp fresh air, the buds on trees and bushes. New life springing forth.

The new year resolutions may be a long distant memory by now, but the newness of the season can hopefully invoke in us new energy to be spurred on “towards love and good deeds”.

It goes without saying that our partners “hold unswervingly” always in their passions and their missions. None more so than Help the Children (now called Family Love) in the troubled and disputed territory of Transnistria. They experience such conditions you might expect to see in a third world country, not in a close neighbour to Europe. It is often not easy to explain to those who know little or nothing about the territories we work in that the needs are so great, but the personal accounts you will read in this Easter edition of ChildAid Matters should soften the hearts of anyone.

Despite the hardships there is always hope, “for he who promised is faithful”. The Lord continues to watch over our partners and deliver blessings in abundance. We thank you for your prayers which are the bedrock of all that is undertaken.
