Wharf Financial set up an amazing challenge amongst the company employees and business partners. They decided to cycle the length of Portugal to raise money for and support Ukraine’s Conflict Victims.
They were completely committed to supporting the innocent victims of war. They branded the support van and had matching t-shirts. Wharf Financial involved a large number of businesses in the fundraising via sponsorship.
They had 5 days to complete the 466 mile challenge (climbing in that time more than Mt Everest) and they all managed to complete it and raised nearly £20,000 to support our appeal for Ukraine.
They created awareness about our work with less fortunate children, built a strong following with their business connections, and improved employees’ engagement and morale amongst colleagues.
