It is hard to understand how a child living in a war zone, in poverty, in difficult family circumstances, with a life-restricting disability, or who has been abandoned, could possibly feel the width, length and depth of God’s love. But they, like you and I, are truly beloved by God.
This newsletter shows how our partners Children’s Hearts and Family Love are putting this love into practice for children and vulnerable families, whilst Little Lighthouse are literally letting children see a whole new world full of care and affection. If you do not already sponsor a child then for the price of a cup coffee a week or one take-away meal a month, you could truly give a child or a family “the power to understand” God’s love.
I was delighted to hear from one of our faithful supporters in how they have embraced our “12 Days of Giving”. I hope that you are encouraged to do something similar once you have read their idea within our newsletter.
Finally, as we crawl (or rather splash) out of winter into spring we can plan to celebrate the rising of our Lord.
Perhaps our new Easter card design will be a blessing to you and to all whom you are able to send our cards to.
Know that, like the children and families we serve, you are beloved this Easter and for all time.
