With the long, dark, cold winter nights behind us we can look forward to a bright, cheerful and warm (hopefully not too hot!) summer. Certainly that is always the dreams of our partners and the children and families you faithfully pray for and support.

There will be plenty of activities taking place from summer camps to creative sessions with plenty of fun, games and laughter. This is not just about “fun in the sun”. These are important morale boosting, health, vitality, and
mental well-being days. They leave the traumas of war, poverty and ill-health behind for a short while and enjoy simply being children.

Children’s Hearts is now our largest project partner in terms of financial support with us sending nearly £70,000 in direct aid to support their wide range of services and programmes (less than a third of this amount is covered through focused, restricted funding such as child sponsorship with the balance coming from our general income). We are indebted to you for your prayers and gifts to support this amazing and positively impactful project.
