Martin Wilcox

Having spent 22 years in the world of commercial insurance as a manager and client relationship director, I felt that I had a calling to give something back to society an so I decided to take a career change into the charity sector. After undertaking an excellent programme with the National Council of Voluntary Organisations called “Working for a Charity” I was blessed to be able to join ChildAid in July 2006 as Charity Manager.

In managing the direction of the charity and closely working with the Trustees I am involved in all aspects of strategy and operational matters, fundraising, review of the fantastic projects we are involved with, and general management stuff!

Sona Scriven

I support all areas of our work, finance, administration, volunteer support, child sponsorship amongst many.

I also run our Little Friends sponsorship scheme.

Yuriy Potapenko

I was born in Ukraine and am a graduate of the Moscow School of Social and Economic Sciences, as well as having a degree in Theology. I have knowledge and experience of developing various social projects in Ukraine and Russia. My role as Overseas Projects Manager is to provide the best support to our Partners.

Stephen Barbor

With 35 years’ experience working in publishing world, in 2010 I embraced redundancy and spent much of the following 5 years supporting parish based youth programmes and outreach initiatives within my local church. During this same period, taking advantage of my employment status, I travelled as a volunteer and have ministered in Kenya, Tanzania and in the Punjab.

I continue to hold a Commission as a Diocesan Evangelist (Rochester) which has literally taken me from the streets of Kent to the slums of the Punjab and to rubbish tips in Kenya; from hot dusty bandit country to the sublime and somewhat chilly slopes of Kilimanjaro. I have had the privilege to support the work of Compassion, Tearfund and ReSource, and now enjoy the challenges and aspirations of working with ChildAid, our Partners, and most importantly our supporters.

Tina Moira

I have been working in the area of Marketing and Advertising for more than 10 years.

I’m currently working on delivering all digital activity for the organisation with the aim of promoting and increasing engagement, impact and influence, with identified stakeholder groups.
