Ukraine at War

ChildAid in one form or another has existed since 1973, when as ARC (Aid to Russian Christians) we provided pastoral and material support to Christians in the then persecuted church of the Soviet Union.

As needs have changed, the charity has adapted and by 2006 our focus had moved to Belarus, Moldova, and Ukraine.  The charity’s mission today, working through local partners, has become one of a ministry to street children, families in crisis, orphans, and children living with disabilities.

The invasion of and war in Ukraine in February 2022 has resulted in fundamental changes in how our partners are able, for the current time, able to operate.

PLEASE NOTE:
Whilst we are getting many enquiries we do not have the logistical, or child protection administration to make arrangements for UK or international residents to take in orphans, children or families fleeing from the war.
