Everyone knows about the war in Ukraine, the young people with learning difficulties at The Isle of Hope, Belarus are no exception. One of the things they learn at centre is to be compassionate, kind and to help others. So, when they heard about the situation in Ukraine they told their teachers they want to help.
They collected clothes and shoes for the refugees. They also made drawings for the Ukrainian children.
They were so happy they were able to help.

Here’s a video from the young people.
We are very proud of them and the wonderful work of the Isle of Hope centre.
Thanks to the kind donations of our supporters, we are helping people with learning disabilities to lead ordinary lives and learn life skills to do the things that most people take for granted.
